About Coach Hawk

My name is Jason Hawkins, though many know me simply as "Coach Hawk" in the classroom, on the field, and throughout the broader learning community. As a lifelong educator, coach, and learner, I have experienced firsthand the positive impact that meaningful assessment, authentic connections, and high expectations can have on growth and achievement.

Throughout my career, I have worked alongside students, educators, teams, and organizations to strengthen teaching and learning through purposeful assessment practices. These diverse experiences have shaped my belief that assessment is a powerful tool for building self-awareness, recognizing strengths, fostering collaboration, and creating positive pathways for growth. Grounded in the idea that relationships matter and learning is continuous, I enjoy partnering with educators, school systems, and businesses to strengthen learning, improve practice, and create cultures of reflection, growth, and continuous improvement.

At its best, assessment helps people see what is possible and empowers them to take meaningful steps toward their goals. This belief continues to guide my work every day.
